Actor par excellence and the first ever to play James Bond, Sean Connery passes away
Hollywood’s biggest franchise 007 lost its first ever James Bond – Sir Sean Connery has left for heavenly abode. Sean Connery who was known to be the first James Bond passed away in his sleep at the age of 90.
The actor passed away in the Bahamas and was unwell for some time now. Apart from playing the sexy and suave spy, the actor was known for many of his other great performances in films like The Hunt for Red October, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and The Rock. He even won the Oscar in 1988 for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for The Untouchables. Sean Connery has also won two Bafta awards and three Golden Globes.
Sean Connery was knighted by the Queen in 2000 at Holyrood Palace and celebrated his 90th birthday in August this year. It’s surely a huge loss for showbiz and we’ve lost one of the sexiest and the best James Bonds ever.
