Now after spending eight months into lockdown, the actor finally resumes work with Bhuj: The Pride of India.
The film, which is set during the 1970 Indo-Pakistan war, will have its final schedule planned this month. According to reports in a leading daily, the makers are planning to shoot for the film post-Diwali and Ajay Devgn, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk will join the team for the shoot. It is even said that Sanjay Dutt who’s in Dubai, will join the cast and shoot for his part. “Given the prevailing scenario, the production team is hunting for a location that meets their safety demands. The final schedule is likely to kick off post-Diwali. Sanjay, who is currently with his family in Dubai, will fly down after the festival to join the proceedings. After Ajay finishes his portions by the month-end, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi and the rest of the cast will be called for the patchwork,” revealed a source to the daily.
Bhuj is directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya and this period war drama will stream on Hotstar + Disney. In this 12 day schedule, the makers are planning to wrap the film and be ready for its online release. Ajay Devgn even has Maidaan shoot pending. The sets of were pulled down due to the monsoons.
