Ali Fazal was one of the special guests invited to felicitate medical professionals. The event was organised by governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at the Raj Bhavan and today the actor spoke to a leading daily and shared his experience to be a part of such a special event.
It’s been almost eight months and our COVID-19 frontliners have been doing their best to battle with the virus and also taking care of the people affected. They are putting their lives at risk in the process. Ali Fazal is very happy and proud to give back to these brave men and women in whatever small way possible. Sharing his gratitude he told the daily, “It has been nostalgic. I had the honour of returning to the Raj Bhavan after years. This institution holds great value for me, for personal reasons. The Bhamla foundation has done [great work] during these tough times. There have been others who have relentlessly worked to help the needy as well. It has been a fight for, and by the common man. It was a proud moment to see such eminent personalities, especially those from the health sector, felicitate each other.”
The actor further added that he is really proud of all the doctors and even the police force for making our lives easier to live in this pandemic.
Ali Fazal’s last stint has been in Mirzapur 2 which recently dropped on Amazon Prime.
