From playing Kapil Dev in â83 to a baddie in Dhoom 4 Ranveer Singh has a packed diary

Ranveer Singh recently completed a decade in the film industry. The actor who climbed up the pedestal with his hard work and back-to-back hits is all set to take the movie business by storm with some big projects.

Ranveer Singh has Kabir Khan’s ’83 pending for release as the makers are waiting for the pandemic situation to die down and only then have its theatrical release. He also had a small stint in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi where he returns as the famous cop Simmba in a special role. Meanwhile, he has started work on Rohit Shetty’s next Cirkus where he plays a double role for the first time and according to the sources, the film is set in the ‘60s and is based on Shakespeare’s play The Comedy of Errors. Cirkus also stars Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. He has started work on it in Mumbai and will soon begin the Ooty-Goa schedule and complete the film by early next year.

Post that he has Karan Johar’s next alongside his Gully Boy co-star, Alia Bhatt. The film is a period drama and will start shooting soon next year. He is also planning to team up with Zoya Akhtar for the third time (after Dil Dhadakne Do and Gully Boy) for a gangster drama.

What’s more, he will step into Anil Kapoor’s shoes for Ali Abbas Zafar’s version of Mr India where he will play the invisible-man and superhero. And if reports are to be believed he also has YRF’s most awaited franchise Dhoom 4 up his sleeve where he will play the villain. Now that’s now one extreme line up that can make any actor go green with envy.
