Twinkle Khanna is known for her sense of humour. Her witty columns in newspapers and her hilarious books have made her famous as a writer. She has left her acting days behind and has no plans of returning to it.
One of her films, Mela, belongs to it’s-so-bad-it’s-good category. Recently Twinkle Khanna received a WhatsApp forward where she got a picture of a truck carrying Gujjar’s photo on the back — Gujjar being the baddie of the film, played by Tinu Verma.
Twinkle Khanna shared the picture on her Instagram profile and captioned it saying, “Certain things, I suppose, are timeless! This popped up in my messages today and what can I say except Mela has certainly left a mark or a scar, whichever way you look at it, on me and the rest of the nation:)” The actress’ caption left everyone in splits and the actress candidly talks about the film which proved to be a bomb at the box office. We love this diva and her sense of humour.
Twinkle Khanna has always spoken about her non-interest at the movies and how she is not looking at returning on the big screen ever again. In an episode of Koffee With Karan, she even told Karan that Rani Mukerji owes her career to her because Twinkle rejected the offer to play Tina (played by Rani) in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, when it was offered to her.
